I dont really know anything about how to tow properly. The last time I towed a uhaul full of junk home from college the thing deathwobbled the whole way home on me. It was in a zj 5.2 limited actually. I assume it was something with weight distribution... just curious.

you want to have more weight on the front than in the back of the trailer, but you dont want to have an excessive amount on the tongue either becuase that will also cause swaying, want like a 60/40 ish split i belive from the front to the back of the trailer. basically look how the trailer and car sit you want the car to remain as level as possible, the swaying is cause when the front of the car is too high (not enough weight) and it can cause wobbling

You want the weight more towards the front of the trailer not the back. so the truck sits almost level with the trailer. That will stop the swaying. the longer the tow vehicle the better it will tow.
My Wk says it can tow 6300lbs, with a 720lb max tongue weight( the weight on the ball) But i have heard even though it says you can do it, its some what scary because its such a short tow vehicle.
Also if towing with an SUV get these so its not sagging.
