yes the trans is weak, i've already owned one of these. its not getting raced or modded any more than it is.

My friend's car is identical, except he has a built tranny and like 300 horse and something breaks like twice a week on it.

it's an sti grill. as i've said before, sti is an in house company not a trim model. so putting sti parts on a wrx is like putting a nismo part on a nissan, or trd part on a toyota.

it just turned 115 yesterday. already has new timing belt, tensioner, front main seal, oil pump o-ring, all idler pulleys, front endlinks, front calipers, rotors, clutch, flywheel, pressure plate, throwout bearing, trans. mount, top mount intercooler and countless number of misc. nuts, bolts, vacuum hoses, brackets, t-bolt clamps. as well as a tune up - plugs, fuel filter, pcv, air filter
