i look at the new keys, they were kinda ruff from being cut, so i filed them down.. and bingo!

keys wear with the tumblars so when youve got a worn key you have a worn lock cylinder, the new key it to sharp and can sometimes miss the contact points causing nothing to happen.....The more you know!
