Hey guys, gotta a slight pickle. I gotta take a job in NY working for JET BLUE but I need to get my rig in working order. Anybody around that can lend a helping hand to a broke ass Hippie, you will be reimbursed through my first paycheck. Although beer should be available for those who help, maybe throw some food on the bar-b-que. Normally I would have no problem getting these tasks done, but at my last job, I got sick/paralyzed and was out for 3 months. When I finally came back to work, I found the locks on my box drilled out, and every tool was swiped out of my box. I only have a small very mis-matched box of sockets and wrenches, so any job here is close to impossible, yet do-able.
I pretty much need to replace every gasket the motor has, I am not sure that the head gaskets need changing, but I guess it couldn't hurt. But on the list of things to do are:
Valve Cover gaskets
Distributor seal
oil pan gasket
thermostat gasket
set timing
finish bed lining
(if feasible) Head gaskets
Replace Radiator hoses
I am sure there are a few things that also need doing. I am wondering if anybody was available to help trying get most if not all of it done in a day. I don't have long before this job opportunity window closes, and I really hate being unemployed, so any help would be appreciated. My zip is 06804, which is Brookfield. So if you wanna see traveling distance map quest it. I was thinking about doing it either tomorrow, or the next day. The sooner the better.
