  • My Jeep

Has been sitting un-driven for 4 months. I disconnected the battery and it has hardly any gas in the tank. When I get back in October, im going to be driving it around 2000 miles during the next 20 days. Should I have an issues to expect with it sitting that long, or should I be alright?

    Uhm...no?

Check fluids maybe. See if any leaked out.

just curious thats all, ive never left a vehicle sitting for more than a couple days without driving it. I know with our lawn mowers it was always a PITA after the winter to get em fired up the first time.

your blinker fluid will be bad (unless you used synthetic)
muffler bearing with be dried out
          bexter spring might be rusty
and i would check that no small animal made its home in your extruded blowoff tube

I would of filled my tank and put some fuel stabilizer in it. Don't want condensation in the tank.

                    flat spots on the tires?

fluids break down over time as well as when used as a lubricator. you might want to change the most vital ones

Throw some dry gas and injector cleaner in it

radial tires dont usually get flat spots

my jeep has sat for 4 months at a time, and driven 1000 street miles and beaten offroad in a weekend

                              no issues from sitting.

brakes might suck until you wear the surface rust off em'
