i preferr a quad only because you're able to ride it all year long, i've had both and raced 250 novice so bikes are good too....

True about the snow, the cops don't even bother trying to chase you....quad can go 70 and drift around corners while the cops just spin their wheels...too dangerous to chase you.

i like watching dirbikes at comps and stuff (little kids at motorama for exampleeeee) i do wanna ride a quad sometime though.

ive had both

dirtbikes hands down

quicker, fits more places, less of a sissy girly machine

for the winter i threw some studs in my tires and i would smoke all the quads around here on the trail.

quad. if i was 15 and it never snowed i might try a dirtbike. i'm an old man now and theres less chance i'm gonna fuck myself up. my quad still can do wheelies through 4th so its fine for me. and everyone i ride with has a quad. dont know anyone with a dirtbike
