Ripping a DVD

Im taking my scuba class right now and they lend you a DVD to watch but you must return it before the class is over. Is there anyway I can rip the dvd to my hard drive or burn a copy ? BTW it probably doesnt have copyright protection on it.

hey sam im doing the scuba in my off time. I may be on call 24/7/365 but that doesnt mean i am physically required to be at work all day every day.
