yup tires are kinda beat, I worked it down on the price but they offered to throw new ones on, i told them not to. i plan on getting some black 17" rims with a size up or 2 on tires.

a friend told me a leveling kit and torsion bar crack up are the exact same thing. do the torsion keys in a leveling kit put the same stress on the torsion bars??? i need to do some research

we've just cranked the bars on my friends trucks, but it is not easy to do.

Here's a pretty good tech page on the subject. People constantly ask about it on the GM forum.

you can put different keys in to change the torsion bars a little adding to height, but the ride will suffer a little.

btw, order up some esclade door handles so they match the rest of the truck , there not that expensive or hard to switch out .

I have some 18's sitting on some shiny black and chrome rims. Not sure what the bolt pattern is on that silverado though.
