sure, i get customers who i don't like or people who are rude to me, but i would NEVER think about messing with their food...after working at a restaurant for the past 4 years i tell anyone that i go out to eat with to be nice to the staff because people always forget how much power they have over your food. you never know how fucked up people really are.

i never return food at restaurants either, not just because they may fuck with it, but because I know im just gonna eat it and enjoy it anyway so why deal with the trouble.

I've only returned a burger once to get cooked more. I asked for it medium rare and it game out like it wasn't even cooked yet. I was like uhh... excuse me miss, do you think you could cook this a little more, it's kindof hard to eat while your food is still moving.

that's my deal too. I got a steak from this place called houlihans in Danbury that was purple in the middle. I think they cooked it by throwin it on the radiator for like 45 seconds. I just ate the semi warmed parts because I knew better than to send that shit back.

i never have returned food and i get irritated if someone im with does, or even if the people i am with are acting like jackasses. the only time i ever was with someone who had a good reason to return it was there was glass in the salad she ordered lol i think thats good reason hahaha or if you get the wrong food, ive seen that happene before too lol

My girlfriends sister is a manager at ruby tuesdays, she always tells me shitty customer stories.

She was telling me like last week this black couple came in. dude orders a burger, Get's it. and drops half on the floor, calls the waitress over and said, yo i dropped half my burger, lemmy get another one. She gets the manager( girlfriends sister) and she says well how about this, how about we make you a half a burger. (Yeah I think it's stupid, but whatever) So he says ya whatever. He eats the other half, gets the new half and complains the half he ate wasn't good, so now he wants a whole new burger. Wtf? So I guess the waitress got another manager, and they actually gave him another burger. then he asks for a take home container and for the manager again.
She comes over and he says for all the trouble, I don't think we have to pay the whole bill. So they actually take the burger off the bill, and give them a free appetizer coupon.

Whaaat?

once i had a table who watched the pizza guy makes their pie from scratch...then when the pie came out they complained and said they wanted a fresh pie, not an old one. wtf.

wow I would have stabbed that burger guy and the pizza guy as well. I could never do a job where I have to deal with customers and a portion of my pay comes from how much a customer likes me. At least on a lawn mower customers are hesitant to come talk to you.

lol yeah i cant be that nice to people. i am unable to work in a job where "the customer is always right" when i worked at the park i was nice to people and once they got dumb i kicked them out and had them arrested if they tried to act like were tough

My boss got diagnosed with cancer my 3rd year working for him. Needless to say customers were his last concern. If a customer decided to get an attitude, or tried to screw us (because they saw 2 kids mowing their lawn and thought they could get some extra work done for free) he would show up at the house and tell them to get another landscaper. 1 strike you're out.

Crap like that makes me not want to ever deal w/ customer service ever again. I worked as a cashier/front end supervisor for a grocery store back in town; 3 yrs of my life was wasted in that store. I could not handle some of the customers because they wanted to pick something apart for one reason or another.
