i work at a restaurant back home and none of this bullshit goes on...if anyone there ever tried to mess around with someones food they would be fired so quickly...so if you're ever on long island there is a nice clean place to eat...

sure, i get customers who i don't like or people who are rude to me, but i would NEVER think about messing with their food...after working at a restaurant for the past 4 years i tell anyone that i go out to eat with to be nice to the staff because people always forget how much power they have over your food. you never know how fucked up people really are.

I dunno, think about it. You're getting to the end of your shift, you're in a kitchen that's out of sight from the customer. Right as you're about to clean up some customer sends back a steak. They say that you cooked it too much and want another one. Now you have to go through all the trouble of cooking another steak. You wouldn't give them a little added bonus? I never return food to the kitchen at an applebees type place.
