  • Coleman lantern preference

I am in the market for a camping lantern and I am not sure which to go with. Which lantern do you have or prefer and why:

    -Battery powered lantern
    -Rechargeable lantern
    -2 mantel propane lantern

    I would do the Propane

They burn hot enough to warm a small tent, you can start fires with them easily enough, they are bright as FUCK, no dead batteries, no recharging. plus, if you buy the stove, you can cook with the same bottle of gas as you would use to light the camp area.

batteries are heavy especially carrying extra...

      and they die.

      propane is way brighter anyway.

My old battery powered coleman last maybe 3 hours of constant use before dimming and those are D cells.
