Love the voice memo feature and like you said landscape texting.
AT&T is slacking on the MMS though.

I have not found one logical explanation as to why either. Every one of their phones has been capable for over 3 years now of at least receiving them but for some reason the Iphone isn't capable. I blame apple 100%

It was apple for sure. However, with the release of the 3GS on Friday, all the updates we just downloaded include the MMS texting. So, we have the technology physically on the phone, just not through AT&T until middle of summer.
That's my understanding anyways, if someone can explain better or correct me, please do..
