    would you drive this...

    well my brother in law has a 89 wrangler S it has 70K on the 4.2 and it has the torq flite 3 spd auto... its been sitting for years but starts right up when started.. it needs a top exhaust tires.. normal shit from sitting.. i have new tires to go on it..
    would you rock it and how does that tranny do? 3spd eekk
    the body is 99% rust free..
    what would you pay for it???

    its a decent tranny. i worked at a tranny shop for a while and i never had one come in there. my buddy has the same setup and drives it to florida all the time from ct. i would not drive it i had one same motor it sucked on cold mornings carb wasnt tuned.

        nice...i dont wanna see the jeep rot away just sittin there.. it would be a big downgrade from a lifted xj to a stock yj

            an honest answer is that could easily pull 2k. wrangler with only 70k on it. everything runs fine and it just needs a top and batter and tires. easy 2k
