checking in from georgia now. toured talladega speedway today in alabama and toured the jack daniel's distillery yesterday. Bristol is tommorrow then we're heading back through Jellico, Tennessee for the XRRA comp this weekend should be awesome and i probably won't have computer access again till next weekend so i'll be sure to post up lots of pics from Jellico when i'm back home. cya guys later..... ohh and geoff....... did you get a tj??

so i don't know if anyone knows this but I-81 runs through tennessee...... and she claimed a transmission.......

so heres the story... missed the race in Jellico cause the tranny on the cj fucked up royally. drove 26 hours straight cause we couldn't go over 50 mph to get home. cold and wet because we sold the hard top in alabama for 10 bucks simply cause it was hot out. get home and off the highway barely get to my friend's house and the noise it started making somewhere in Pennslyvannia finally ended with a rear driveshaft u-joint explosion.

long story short missed the race in Jellico which really sucks, but other than that the trip was great, minus the fact i'm home a week early.

yupp put 3,000 miles on a 81 cj7 with 33's and pretty much lived out of it for over a week, mostly camping in different state parks/national forests along the trip.

sadly i can't.... gotta work the cj. rebuilt the rear driveshaft, changed the fluids, and some more stuff to keep doing today.

shit man.i would but im heading up to my buddys lake for the day in a few.My uncles car got wrecked pretty bad this week at the race.3 projects is enough for a couple weeks.lol
