RWD for me obviously. Fun to drift, fun to burnout. Way better traction than FWD. The only fun thing in FWD is reverse donuts.
AWD just isn't fun unless you have ken block power with very strong drivetrain like dana said. Drifting in snow/dirt gets boring considering I can do it in my jeep.
RWD. Throw some weight in the back during the winter and you have enough traction to stay on the road, but not soo much traction that you can't have fun.

I have AWD in the grand cherokee with low range. I wish it had the ability to switch from RWD to AWD and LO. BUT, My jeep gets GREAT highway mileage even though its an AWD suv. (Great compared to other V8 SUVs)
