I'm overhauling my 84 Honda atc110 now, and ma get rid of the slight rust on the tank, should I leave the pretty mint factory paint and jut deal with the couple spots, or should I just spray the thing black and be done with the rust.

The I my reason I'm asking is becuase the trike is original everything and Im wondering if I should just leave the nostalgic red or get some

it all depends if you want to keep it to ride, or possibly sell it. I would try and color match the tank, see if you can bring it to a paint shop and have a quart made.

just have a pro spray it, an ATC is worth it.

I have an HVLP gun and all the goodies, so getting a good spray isn't the issue, maybe I'll just matte black it and paint the red back on down thenroad
