this just in, i was playing for a good 2 hours and the screen wen't black, turned it off and back on, played for about 2 minutes and the screen froze all fuzzy

ima leave it for a little while, see what happens, i'll be bummed if it didn't really work

how long ago did you buy it? if it was within 3 years take it to best buy, tell them you cant find your receipt. depending on the best buy or who is working they will 1. just replace it for you or 2. send it out for you and get a you new one.

Well the old towel trick worked for about 2 hrs. Now i have 3 red lights.

I'm attempting to fix this myself for good with the help of an online walk through. I absolutely suck at electronics so we will see how this goes

i have a ps3....pretty good waste of money other than it being a blu ray player. i use my wii more than i use my ps3. its sad because im a huge sony fan but 360 is just better.

oh and evan u shoulda just sent it in. now all warranty is void. they wont fix it after youn opened it. if you just sent it out and waited a month you would get it back with a free month of xbox live

yea i figured that out after i already opened it, oh well it actually isn't that hard, i just gotta pick up some crap at radioshack and it will be good as new


edit: i didn't even really think about it, this will save me money. i am actually past the 3 year warranty period so i don't feel so bad anymore, i probably would have paid over 100 bucks for microsoft to fix this
