So last night at approx 830 I get a phone call from a number I do not know. I answer and the conversation goes like this..

Excuse me?

Put your mother on the phone

Im sorry you have the wrong number

Yes it is but I dont know a laurie

is this cody?

Yes my name is cody but my moms name is not laurie this is a business line

I know its your dads cody now put your mother on the phone.

Look women, my dad lives in kansas, i dont speak to my mother or know a laurie.. but if you do speak to laurie tell her she owes the guy that cut her trees some money... good day and good bye



When I first got my business phone I use to get calls from a guy all the time wanting laurie to pay him his money for trimming her trees... so apparently lauries sons name is also cody, what are the odds

our shore house had an answering machine and when we came done for a weekend there was always a message from "uncle buckie" giving us a hard time for ignoring his calls and not calling him back....one time dad was down there when he called and hes like heyyy uncle buckie!!!! how are ya???? the guy gets all happy to hear from him and my dad goes theres just one thing....i dont have an uncle buckie...and the guy hangs up and we never heard from him...lol people are weird
