Its amazing how much a machined piece of metal can go for. I did a roofing job for a company last summer that manufactures the fan shrouds for various airliners as well as some military aircraft, Basically a huge glorified tube of metal, that went for $200,000ish a piece for the ones that went on the Boeing 777Comment

dealing with lots of aircraft parts, you'd be surprised how much some stupid small shit costs. 2000 bucks for a tiny bag of nuts and bolts, even more for other stupid shit. It blows my mind.Comment
