As much as I hate clayton he said something in his interview that I agreed with... something like, "yea I came in 2nd but everything but first is just losing to me."

Thats how I feel about it, yea just running it would be a fucking blast. But winning it and getting to run it agian in JV! now that would be fucking sique. plus i cant plaster HMC across something that explodes on the first lap

all im discussing is the fact that the koh course is easy when u take a few things out or 100% doable in average rigs at any level other than im here to run 1 lap and maybe do that and still fuck my shit up

it is not at all by any stretch of the imagination. u dont run enduro races in run of the mill trail rigs

i have no problem with u doing it "for fun"

before people shoot my ideas down, let it be known im not 100% into anything. I just think If i can get my rig to where i want it, it is possible. I may not be competitive, but i will have fun and thats all i give a shit about.

the only technical deely im worried about is windhield, cant exactly pop those in and out

i dunno about driving from the event.

compete? absolutely. truss the shit out of your axles and all suspension mounts. reinforce your motor mounts. build your shit for hard hits. be able to roll and easily recover. and make sure you can walk through the first half of rock creek at a 5-7mph+ pace.

as for finishing...
out of 32(?) rigs only 11 finished.

it would be fun as hell to give it a shot and even only do a lap or 2.

anybody could run KOH, a stock rig could do it. instead of 5 laps at 4 to 5hrs though it would be 5 laps at 5 days.

the thing that killed everyone was the rain. goddamn 1.5" deep treads picking up coal mud after 60MPH+ runs through dirt then dumping it all over the rocks = no traction.
