indeed it is. it has a K&N filter inside it with little doors that open and suck in the air. its a form of forced air induction and believe you me it works

I see the hypercharger though. My dad had one on his 77 shovel.

Dad's new one.08 Softail deluxe. Stock in the pic, but over winter he had everything 100% chromed. Sick. and Vance and hines true duals with intake and power commander.

Mine, Stock. 06 GSXR 600. I put a yoshi exhaust on it and spring time i'm getting a crash cage, and down gearing.

Could somebody tell me why i see so many ninjas/gsxrs/yamahas when the CBR has probably been the most consistently good bike in like the past 3 years? It could just be me but i barely ever see any honda's around here. Actually i dont really see a lot of R1's or R6's either, everybody always talks about getting a GSXR or a Ninja.

BTW i'm not trying to rag on the guys that own ninjas/gsxrs/r1/r6s, they are all sick bikes i wish i had one.

                                My view on that.

                                I've ridden Gsxr 600, 750, and 1000's
                                I've ridden CBR f4's
                                I've ridden R6's and R1's.

How I feel, Gixxers are more rippin up the streets bikes, CBRs are good stunters but I don't like the feel. R6's and R1's I think of like Strictly track bikes, not very comfy to me, you like have to lean over more.

I personnally just like the gixxers ride better. I really want a CBR to stunt though.

But I really want a fatboy with apes and loud pipes.
