I've met Armand, Chris (Otte), and Caleb ask them if I'm an asshole. I'm good for 190 posts and usually I have something useful to contribute to the forum. I share as common of an interest in Jeeps as most of the people here on the site and I am limited to non-member access because I couldn't make the meet and greet.

Having SiS stickers on your car isnt about extra advertising. Having an SiS sticker on your car is showing that you are a longstanding member of the club and you have a good reputation with something to contribute. Stickers arent like candy that get given out to any and all, and for a good reason. As for not becoming a member because you didnt go to the meet and greet, I dont believe that it is the case. Becoming a member doesnt just happen overnight either and you have been a member just over 2 months. Be patient, contribute to the club your reputation will grow. In doing so, you may just become a member. -Steve

Just cause you go to a M&G doesn't guaranty that you'll become a member, but I'm sure there will be another M&G soon, as well as other ways to hang out with club members. Having someone vouch for you goes a long ways too, so if a member needs help with a lift kit, or fixing their junk, go help them. It pretty much goes this way with all clubs, my dad ended up de-winterizing like 5-6 boats with some of his boat club members before they inducted him, and he had been to several club meetings. Be patient bud...
