1. Beckett - i'll give you that, tons of respect, one of the best postseason pitchers ever
2. Lester - farthest thing from a veteran, he's good but your arguement doesn't hold water
3. Wakefield - Veteran yes, but hardly one of the most reliable pitchers in baseball
4. Penny - Brand new to you guys, most people don't know squat about him, his ERA is 7.80 right now
5. Masterson - who the hell is this guy? once again farthest thing from a veteran

Sorry Yankee fans.....but until the club learns how to build a club properly, you will be out of the postseason for many years to come. Yes, it is early this season, but lets compare here....NY spent over $400 million on free agents....Boston only spent $12.5 and got better talent. And look at whats happened so far.

Plus Bostons farm system is alot better.

We'll see how the year goes.....but don't brag about a team that just can't back its wallet up...

Your arguement is stupid. We are less than 20 games into the season and your making predictions on how teams are going to finish?

Go ahead and talk about the yankees payroll all you want. Sure we are still way higher than the Red Sox payroll, but imo you guys have no room to talk, you have the 2nd highest payroll in the MLB.
