why does everyone hate nickelback?

I don't listen to a lot of music, but i've always wondered why the hell nickelback is flamed like it's their job. I actually like quite a few of their songs

its not as bad anymore, but for a 2 year time frame you could turn the radio to ANY station and hear that song 3 times in an hour.

I dont think its really that everyone hates them, its more of that their shit is sooo overplayed on the radio causing everyone to get sick of it. Then when it comes on people or like oh god not this again. I dont listen to the radio ( doesnt work in my jeep) so I dont hear it much, thus it doesnt bother me
