I think if you want a tire for all terrains, get a tall 9.5 or 10.5 for an XJ or light TJ. For an LJ a tall 10.5 or 11.5. For my LJ, I like a 33 X 10.5 R15. It's an ideal size for some things, and good enough for all others, especially if a hybrid tread. That's especially true for a DD Jeep like mine. If mine wasn't a DD, I'd put on some 35 X 10.5 R16 in load C (Simex makes them) that are used worldwide outside USA for Jungle (MUD) Expedtions.
