That looks pretty cool Justin, the multi faceted one. I've learned to like speed now haha. I'm figuring out what we'll do for a race schedule and what not next year. Lots of series are still in planning now it seems. We are going to race the april line mt one at rausch though, and maybe we'll do this it sounds pretty cool.

I've also gotta see how destroyed everything is after KOH. It could be a game changer. We'll see.

Do you maybe have an ax5 laying around? I know you had a tcase that would fit one but I was thinking about grabbing myself a spare tranny for the race.

        no AX5s. I have a spare AX-15 but I'm holding onto that.
The 231 21 spline came from an AW4 older one.
I still have the 231 if you want it. I don't know what I'm going to do with it yet.

Good luck at KOH. Make sure to post your Number so we can follow you.

I probably will not be ready for the early season comps. I might actually want to try to buggy before competing, but then again maybe not.

Thanks anyway. I will probably getting a 4 liter in the thing sometime in the next year anyway. I'll post something up so people can follow us for (hopefully) the entire race. That one comp is in end of june it looks like, the speed/crawl one. That sounds fun and would be my pick. Were you going to be racing with that new buggy of yours or just crawling?

            depending on the rules.
I don't have everything yet like window nets, winch, bumpers, etc.

And just a set of 35" tires so it will be interesting.

They are having a practice comp April 3rd.

I'm pretty sure I'll be going wheeling in the practice comp and if the rig is still together stay for monday to trail ride.

                    From the practice event.

You should all try out the new style X-rocs comp.
                    Basically high speed rock crawling.
They are still working on the rules and classes but should fit everyone and be fun.

                    Worth a drive.

very cool, how did you do in the standings? Looks like you're already real comfortable with that buggy and it works. What size of tire you got on there?

I was on par with the other 4 people that showed up.
I was the only one that ran a co-driver they all ran a spotter.

My tires measure 33" they are a metric 34.5 to be under the 35" tire limit I used to have.

Will be nice when I get a real set of tires.

There was a lot of discussion on how the event should be run.

Basically the classes are going to be very open. Kind of like.
                        Care about my body.
                        Don't care about my body.
                        No Body
                        Unlimited.

And rules will be meant to keep it fast pace.
Something like 10 points for a clean gate 5 for dirty (hit cone) 0 for skipping the gate.
                        Maybe points for time remaining.
                        And points for no spotter.
                        Back ups don't matter.

                        Something along those lines.
