Not sure how many of you may have heard about this but I find this to be extremely comical.

Particularly this part:
"This is going to help hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers, but this is going do something else," Cuomo (D) said. "Because when New York acts, the rest of the states follow."

Apparently Cuomo thinks that the rest of the United States hinges off his every decision and ruling....

Whats your take on it? I think a good old fashioned knock down drag em out debate is in order!

That comes out to almost $32k per year. Kids out of college aren't even making that in a lot of entry level jobs where a degree is required. My base starting out at Enterprise was $33700. Are they going to force companies who hire kids out of college to pay them more? Doubtful.

well...gotta figure in that most fast food employees arent full time 40+ hours a week, nor do I think that the franchises could even afford to shell out that kind of cash.

Fast food type jobs were never intended to be a careers, it is just an in between job for teenagers and second incomes.

If they wanted more money they should have worked hard, studied harder or learn a skill in school. Sorry your a slacker deal with it.
