Is everyone frozen into a deep freeze until spring

I'm still putting in a couple hours a week but the cold really lowers my motivation.

Right now I'm rapping up my plumbing, Fuel, P/S, and Coolant are 95% complete still need vents on everything.
Finished my clutch, now onto brakes. One maybe two more nights, then onto electrical.

So far I've changed a flex plate, did my control arms, started my latest endeavor, did a motor swap in some one else's jeep, started fixing the few remaining parts from matts abusive foot.

Why is it so bad? Not directed just at Dizzy, but why does everyone here hate snow SO much? Especially among this crowd full of 4x4 owners. I like skiing in it, I like pushing it around with my tractor, I think its fun to not care driving around in a 4x4 knowing how to handle it while everyone else panics. Plus its inevitable unless you move somewhere else that gets disgustingly hot in the summer, so why complain about it?

The ridiculously cold temps are another thing. But I have kind of adjusted to those too. Today feels like sweatshirt weather!

I love all seasons though. Except when its super rainy in the spring. Definitely ready for wheeling weather.

I hate snow not because of the snow itself, just everything involved directly with snow. If snow just stayed there and we minded each other's business, then I would be cool with snow.

But no, snow is the single reason why people in this area lose their minds and forget how to drive. My Jeep is great in the snow, everyone else's prius and toyota camry are not. I95 becomes a skating rink filled with people who instantly forget how to drive. You have irate assholes in a large SUV with summer tires weaving in an out of people trying to get ahead of the people who are being slow and cautious, end up spinning out and taking out other vehicles in the process, causing a headache for everyone behind them. They should be flogged on their tailgate when the police arrive.

I also don't like having to move snow. I wish it could stay on the ground. Like leaves, they are called leaves, you leave them there. But no, it's part of out shitty fucking culture that we have to take snow and put it somewhere else because everyone drives a less capable rig than the rest of us. I don't want to shovel or snowblow, I don't want to be involved with anything involving moving snow from one area to the next week after week in a futile dance of misery and dismay.

I also hate snow because it becomes ice if it gets warm for a single day, then flash freezes overnight. The bullshit stays there on the ground and I have to forcibly remove it with picks and axes and sometimes, in a blinding fury, the closes 8.25 axle shaft.

I also hate all forms of winter sports that are involved with snow. Snowboarding and Skiing to me are a wonderful way to spend money to be cold and miserable.

To each their own, but as someone once said, eventually I'm going to start walking South with a snow shovel in my hand and stop when the first person goes 'what's that thing?' Hopefully I'll end up on my own personal island off of Costa Rica and be a drug kingpin and live in luxury the rest of my life and the only white powder I see is the cocaine my minions will be selling the fools here in the northeast.
