my internet keeps dieing for no reason. i unplug the modem and plug it back in and it works again for like 5 mins then dies again. its wireless. the ohter computer in the house is hardwired and its not having problems

bummer. my internet does not do that.

Did you add another phone to your house and not put a filter on it? We have AT&T and every phone needs a filter or only the wireless connection gets lost every time the phone rings.
Maybe try to add the wireless connection in manually again. I had to do that with my laptop, but that was also a problem from the start and it sounds like your connection is not new so that may not help.
