            Overhead console says 27.6 mpg. Even if it's off and gets 25 I'm ok with that... And I paid 16k for it

              If it has a programmer it is most likely off. Way off. Depending on which box was in mine it was off 3-7 mpg. 25 out of a common rail on winter fuel would be a miracle.

                  my old 12 valve used to get over twenty on a regular basis. auto common rails typically get between 20-22 if driven right. add in a manual trans and some easy driving, I dont see it an impossibility. like i said, even if it is around 25, im ok with that.

                  97 TJ that I think is pretty neat.
