This is a custom built shortened dana 30 axle. I bought this years ago for the carrier and gears. It is an empty housing with axle shafts. I have been hanging onto this with plans of using it, but the reality is i probably never will.

i was told it was used on a high horsepower go-cart. could be used on a dune buggy, sand rail, trike, whatever......... whoever built this knew what they were doing. it appears to be factory built. definetly not some back yard mechanic hack job.

5 lug axle shafts - i believe a 5x5.5" lug pattern. 27 spline axle shafts.

build something cool with this. will consider any reasonable offers. willing to ship at buyers expense. can answer any questions and take any specific measurements.

could this have been from an old golf cart or forklift?

Clean the absolute fuck out of it. Throw a beat pinion in it and a yoke. Weld yoke to hitch insert, bam...hitch barbeque
