Military Donations for OER this year

As most of you know, each year at OER we do a big care package donation from SIS...everyone brings items to RC and then we send out the packages.

This year, we are thinking about doing a monetary donation rather than a care package. Please feel free to post up specific donations/charities that you'd like to see the money go to. We'd like to continue with the military theme. I know there are many sites out there that you can donate to, so I figured we can make it a group activity and help decide together.

I read about Fisher House. Its a charity that provides a place for families to live near a military hospital when their loved one is being treated for a combat injury, illness, or disease.

there's no minimum...i'll collect the money (whether it's in person or via paypal) and we will combine it and donate it after OER
