    i saw a pinion bearing that did that.... race welded to the housing in spots, no lie.
    No worries, I'm not actually back, I'm just reminiscing about the old days.

        All the time in the small engine world pistons and cylinders overheating no lubrication. Crazy stuff

          We make spin welders at work for spin welding plastic, which is basically friction. Im sure Lumberg will correct me.
