My new toy. savage 58

Thought I would share my new score. 50$ from a guy my father works with.
Stevens/Savage model 58-20 gauge. Had been sitting around for a long time. Was pretty gummed up. Couldnt even get the safety to move. Everything else seemed ok, just a little tight.
Brought it home last night and took it apart. Cleaned and oiled everything and its working great.
Had a problem with the magazine sticking and not pushing the next shell up, so I had that apart and modified it a little. Seems to work fine now. I can crank through 3 rounds without a hang up.

Haha nice. I would only consider trading it for a pump, or semi auto for the house.

Nice score for $50 lol. I always preferred a pump shotgun just for that sweet sound, but for that price I wouldn't complain.

Oh, no I am not. 3 shot bolt action isnt the ideal home defense though lol.
