I dont really see an issue with that. Personally on craiglist, I dont give a flying fuck. So if somebody has something, I'll low ball them and put cash at the end, they deny or accept. Sometimes people just want shit gone, or gone before the ex wife can take it or something along those lines. More often than not, you can push people to sell cheaper than they want because they usually dont have space for it and are selling the item because of that reason.

Again, I dont see much wrong here. Of course, I've never met said person, but in my stance on that site, if somebody has something for sale on that site...they more often than not have other stuff they dont necessarily know has a price tag on it until questioned. How do you think "antique sellers" make a living.... asking that exact question.

Of course you are going to get offers. But seriously, I'm going to take 150$ off of something I want 450$ for because your going to pay me cash? Has cash become some hard to come by super payment all of the sudden? Because its cash I'm going to go down over 30% on my price? I'm somehow mesmerized by cash so much it will get me to take any ridiculous low ball offer that comes my way?
What other form of payment could someone really accept where stating cash makes such a big difference. If you want it, make me a reasonable offer. I think its pretty safe to assume your paying cash.

Maybe on my next listing Ill be clear to state that I do not extend personal lines of credit, take personal checks, or lease items.
