NY just passed a law that would...

* ban on pre 1994 mags with cap of 11 or more
* ban on mags over 7 rounds
* background checks on all ammo purchases
* mental health reporting which is to be checked against the (new??) gun registry database
* 1 feature test for AW. Bushmaster AR banned by name
* 10 round mags to be grandfathered in but may only be loaded with 7 rounds (read elsewhere this will be a misdemeanor)
* all sales of ammo from registered ammo dealers to be reported to local police
* background check on all ammo purcahses
* ban of direct internet ammo purchases
* ammo purchases to go through FFL
* five year renewable registration for AW and handguns


Many New York citizens will become criminals overnight.

I dont know. But I do know that people arent just going to willingly give up their guns. I can see this turning very bad. NY just set a precedence. Its only going to make it worse for Ct. Im sure these morons think it makes Ct look bad if they dont do the same, or worse.
I can definitely see it turning into a PR battle of who set the highest standard for gun ownership.

If this happens I'm going to go to homedepot and buy tubes and springs and return them as magazines.
With a sign that says proceeds going to 100rnd internal feed guns.

they said there is 170,000 hand gun permit it is very hard to buy a hand gun under 10rnds and most guns come with multiple mags never mind most gun owner own multiple guns then you have the people who don't have a pistol permit and still own long guns. And you don't need a pistol permit to own a pistol just to carry it so you have those people too.

Would you really pay more money for the smaller mag.

I would guess in the millions of magazines.

What was the lady saying about it worked in New Have, I sure don't think anything worked in New Have.

Can you load a drum magazine attached to the firearm?
It looks like you can form the video.
Then just pin the mag in place, no longer an Assault rifle.
