Trying to decide which gopro to buy. I have never used one and am looking at buying one for someone for xmas.

The options are:
black - 399
silver - 299
white - 199

Is it worth the money for the Hero3 Black? it has the wifi remote and better picture quality. but couldn't i get a silver and then buy the bacpac/remote package for 79 bucks and save money and get the bacpac attachment?

what do you use it for?

ask yourself this:

do you need or will you actually benefit from 120-240 frames per second, and 4k resolution at low frame rate, or 10 shot rapid burst photo
