Who wears them while cutting and grinding? I used to never and dad used to tell at me saying safety glasses weren't enough. I will now be wearing one lol. I was cutting some thin metal no biggie with my cut of wheel when the wheel exploded sending shrapnel all over the shop. One piece slammed right off my safety glasses and one piece off the brim of my hat. So who wears them on the regular and who just wears safety glasses.

I cut beams out of cars every day for sunroofs and I never wear one. I should but it makes it difficult to see and being so close to the roof I can not afford a mistake

I always at least wear safety glasses. Heard so many horror stories about wheels blowing apart and Ive had it happen to me a couple of times. Not even worth risking it.
