That is a picture from the Hubble Telescope of the distant parts of our universe. It took 13.2 billion years for that light to get to the telescope. Mind boggling.

My favorite pictures from the Hubble are the ones of the colliding galaxies that are millions of light years away, because as we see them, as we process the light that arrived to us now, those galaxies may have already joined or completely decimated each other.

It's hard to imagine something so vast that looking up at the sky is looking into the past.

Voyager 1 was launched in 1977...it just got to the edge of our solar system this year.

I think about what's under the ocean more than space, but I find it very crazy how much is out there. It is crazy all of the things that exist down there that we don't know about.
