    Guy was arrested. Fricking nuts out there i swear. If maryland wasnt such a stupid state id carry 24/7. the locals at rc can be a tad creepy at times to thats for sure. Guy's arm is done. he asked to have it removed due to having hardly no bone left and the nerves would never heal. Theres a thread over on pirate as well.

                      its interesting read on pirate. I had no idea that miners on federal land only owned the claim, not the land. So you can drive on it, around it ect but they cant say a thing. However they can call the police if you are mining there gold. This is what the passenger was explaining to the miner and was shot soon after.

                        from what i understand, they have the right to drive on that land. miner has claim on the minerals, not the land itself. As long as there not mining there is nothing he can do.

                              Phils point is that if you get into a dispute like that, and you have a concealed weapon, you will never see it again because of cross litigation. Its fucking absurd, but thats the way it works. Even if you have no involvement in it other than being the driver of the last vehicle in line and had your gun on you, I garuntee it would be taken away, as well as your CCW permit for the rest of your life.
