no don't be silly. they probably broke at OER or the trip before. there was a noise i thought was a bearing but i haven't driven it since july. took off the cover and there she was haha

Run it with broken gears.... they are already broke and you trailer it.... Build a 44?

took out the ring gear so it's 2wd and no awful noises. 44 is an option in my head

60 front 8.25 rear?

ive done that, although stripped all the teeth off the ring and pinion drove it around front wheel drive for a bit

Don't be scurrd. They hold up to some good abuse still. Locked on 35's is a Dana 30's limit. If it was 4:56 it would have been the same way.

Haha dan's right. This is my second jeep that's been locked with 4.88's on 33's/35's and in 4 years or so the first time it's broken
