i don't see a problem with amazon. as long as you don't overwhelm yourself it's simple. someone hands you an order, you go pull it from the shelves, ship it out, repeat.
i saw a special on their warehouse the other day and the place is insane! no real order to anything they have in there because they have so much stuff. they just use scanners to locate everything on random shelves.
The really cool shit is in the programing. The robot shelves and the auto sorting system put products together that are most likely to be shipped together. Then it figures out how to naturally park them so the robots make the most efficient loops. They auto park themselves to charge. Its insane. I want that source code so badly.
