  • anyone ever get a horribly bad speeding ticket?

i just paid mine off from 3 years ago and as per my facebook status regarding it:
So now i am done with this....my final payment of $225 has been charged and taken care of. for a total amount of $1305 dollars i can honestly say that i have learned my lesson, my driving privileges and my wallet have been stretched to their sheer breaking point...please let me be a lesson to you, slow down in work zones. the fines are not worth the penalties later on. let alone if someone were to die because of you being a fucktard.

as a little additional info....i got stopped for a 111mph radar reading in a 55mph active workzone. it was 11 points and $1305 half due to the city where it happened and the other half to NYS DMV.

i am not boasting by any means. before you all start flaming me make sure that i am flamed for being retarded, not for being a douche-bag. (and yes i was a retard for doing this)

I got 111 in a 50 in my old wrx. Never will i drive like that again. $200, 0 points and 1 month community service. Suspended license for 2 months which caused me to lose my job, though when i called to reinstate it they told me it was never suspended

mine(shamefully) was on my motorsickle....i probably could have ran and gotten away with it....however a 3 to 1 lane bottleneck was NOT worth my life to risk.

the judge cut me slack because it was my first recorded ticket. 11 points is the max you can get before they take it in NY. they even officially wrote it as a 101 because i plead guilty.

ps high five for gettin hit with the same speed as me,
      pss happy birthday

The vehicles I own are incapable of speeding on the highways. The Grand Wagoneer can barely speed in a school zone. By the time it gets up to 40 mph, I've already left the school zone.

i should have gotten a 120 in a 55 once, but they never caught me
No worries, I'm not actually back, I'm just reminiscing about the old days.

I passed a state trooper in a charger at 165 on the gixxer, he did nothing, passed a regular state trooper at 90 on one wheel and ran. Wheelied side by side with my buddy through the center of wallingford cause some choaties did the wheelie sign, put it down before the next stop sign, looked over to my buddy who didn't have a motorcycle license at the time and realized there was a cop behind us with his lights on. He let us go with a warning and told us to keep it on one wheel.

Around here, i've never seen a cop chasing a bike that tried to run. Too much risk. On my harley, they don't bother me.

I can't have stuff that can go that fast, or I get in trouble. Thats why I have a heavy truck that is governed at 100 and a harley that I won't go past 120 on.

Glad ya learned your lesson before anything regrettable happened.

When you can do 85 before shifting to second gear it is slightly hard to not break the speed suggestions from time to time.
