Why no pulley change? There is no way I can keep up with u without a pulley change. Maybe a speed limit or pulley size change limit.

IMO, this is a great place to start for rules.

I say make pulley changes, but spec them. Lawnmower stock class specs 8:1 ratio and a motor RPM limit. It is checked in tech inspection and really easy to do.
They also spec that you can modify anything in the drivetrain from jackshaft back, as long as the drive ratio is 8:1 or "slower". That covers locked diffs, chain drives, etc.
I say front axle is fair game as long as it is of the factory "style" (like stock class suspension rules). I'd make steering mods unlimited. Direct drive steering and tie rod upgrades will be safer and a no brainer. Rear suspension (if it has any) should be stock.
Those mods are cheap, $1-200 or so, and would make racing much more...ridiculous. Stick to the roots but add excitement. 12-15 mph is PLENTY.Last edited by Timmay; 10-04-2012, 09:00 AM.
