I just bought an elm 327 obd2 interpreter, to monitor some stuff on my new mazda 6 project, ive never heard of them before but for the price (15 bucks) you can get wired or bluetooth, even a wifi link. Theres tons of free software and i am trying a program called scan xl pro, which datalogs and alows some tuning for my mazda 6.
With the program you can do anything from cel codes to fuel mixture, manifold pressure, even a dyno feature ( i doubt its accuracy though) the program does allow some tuning if you have the advanced package for you vehicle, but nothing crazy like fuel mapping
Pretty neat stuff if you love information like me, for 15 bucks i could go wrong
