@customcreations. I've always wanted to build one of those, and attempted one time, but my efforts got cut short due to the engine not being big enough.

How big of an engine would you need to propel a 180 pound person around town and up hills and what not? Also, do you want the front sprocket (The one on the engine) bigger or smaller than the sprocket on the bike? Is there a ratio or something to calculate this?

Hate to rebump my own post, but could someone point me in some sort of direction before i end up with another failed motorized bicycle?

My moped is 49cc and pulls my 180 lb ass around. No problems.

I'd say a smaller engine side sprocket and a larger bike side
