contour vs gopro

someone convince me to get a gopro over a contourroam. i'm going on a cruise, i want to film when i go snorkeling. the contour is much cheaper with all the stuff i want. the 60fps filming isnt really a deal breaker for me. they say the contour will get 3.5 hrs battery and gopro will get 2.5. so i've come to the place who has the most experience with gopro's i could think of.

they give great video, are durable enough to stay on the rigs we place them on, and once you know how to work them, they are really easy to start and turn off. the contours do produce good video too, but there is a reason gopros are becoming so popular.
