    hey, just wondering, has anyone bought a .22lr conversion for there ar? im looking at a few kits and was wondering what kind of luck people have with them. im guessing i probably shouldn't buy the cheapest one

      I don't know much about .22lr conversions, however I did just pick up a Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22 which is a .22lr version of their AR platform. They are really nice rifles, and the price isn't too bad.

        I'll sell you mine. It works when you maintain it. You're better off getting a dedicated .22 upper for you AR with the right barrel twist.

        It's the CMMG kit, by the way, and I have a few magazines for it.
