For his lifelong achievments in motorsports, i will be knocking back a couple shots in his honor this evening.

Speed network has an hour long special with him and dave despain, that i saw a couple weeks ago. They just sat there and he told stories from the beginning on to now with the new mustangs. It's incredible, be on the look out for it. Deff a must-watch for any car guy

Gonna have to agree with dizzy here...never a mustang fan but Mr. Shelby produced two of my favorite cars ever. The GT40 and the Daytona Coupe....may he rest well

Just saw on Speed that they will be airing that Dave Despain on Assignment special at 9pm on sunday night. Definately worth it to check that out, it's really good.

May not like Mustangs as much as cars from the Bowtie, but the man helped create some of the most iconic muscle cars of the era. Even the new Cobras are awesome cars.

Just because you're not a fan of the car doesn't mean you can't appreciate what goes into it and its capability.
