Whenever and wherever I end up I think my next cherokee will be a toy with a 6.0 after seeing this thing perform. I witnessed what this thing is capable of and so did everyone else... Its still rough around the edges but with a little more fine tuning this thing is the prime example of a low budget, simple, bare bones rig that WORKS ...Oh and did anyone snap a pic of it walking gatekeeper?

        im a little confused

seriously not hating on joe at all, we have no bad blood, but we have been on club runs to mabell a lot and plenty of members here have walked committed on a 1 shot, and have also completed gatekeeper, and no one ever made much of a deal about it until now. is there something im missing that makes this revolutionary? or is it just the fact that its an xj on leaf springs which has been done plenty already?

that was certainly not the hardest obstacle that joe hit all day. I am honestly surprised after seeing it in action, it went over the hardest spots and lines of the days without much problem. It definitely proved its self in my book.
I just think its funny how many leaf sprung v8 cherokees there are on pirate that no one has anything to say about.

Is there a new obstacle at Mabell I dont know about?

I think every trail run there I have been on that it wasnt sopping wet or in snow, at least one jeep did all the hard lines, and it was no big deal. like i said, not knocking, but this is getting a lot of press for some reason

I did mabell on a open rear diff and shitty 33's not saying just saying.

All that video did for me was prove my point that carb + rock crawling = fail. Btw watched it while pooping it was like exlax.

Im not trying to make it out to be a big deal like other jeeps couldnt do it, it just seems more like people thought Joes jeep was incapable of doing it. We came up with some pretty good stuff though and a couple pretty odd obstacles that I would say were much harder than gatekeeper or comitted. But Im not saying is some super special thing.
So my point isnt that there were some super obstacles out there that appeared overnight, but that his jeep performed well, and covered everything with ease no matter any ones opinion of it.
